I received this Coco  Fiber Coir from eBay today. It's a great value, compared to some of the other dealer prices! What I like about these is, it's 5 bricks (they are heavy) ... and you can open them, as you use them...Just thought, I would pass this alone!.... I am not connected to these folks, what so ever! : )

If you find a hydrotek store you can get these size bricks for two bucks not same brand but same size

I just got three bricks from pet smart for 7 dollers. It says on pack it is for reptiles and plants. So salt levels should be ok. I paid 16 dollers for same amount on ebay

3.3 pounds each brick. 10 pound 3 bricks per pack for 7 dollers

The ones at the pet store are the normal 650 gram size, they make about 2 gallons when expanded. Brand is "eco-earth". The quality is not what you would get with a premium company like Botanicare. I pay the same price for "plant it" brand at the local hydro store.

Hoosier i haven't used it. The stuff i do use and like is Botanicare. Will the stuff i got frim pet smart kill my cuttings?

From what I can tell it is finer, more small brown pieces and less fibers. The Plant!t stuff is in between the 2 in color and texture, they could all vary some from batch to batch. I don't remember having any trouble with eco earth. Botanicare makes really nice products though and I bet their quality control is much better than the other 2.
