Good looking fig.

Those figs look awesome. Here is my CdD Blanc today. It was one of 2 cuttings I received  from UCD this year and I feel it has done really well. A bit of FMV but not as much as I have seen on other plants. A couple of figs emerged but I pulled them off. I'm really hopeful for next year, but it was also my first year of UCD cuttings and that was as much fun as can be

Thank You for your comments... This is my top performing fig. My little tree is from a UCD cutting also in spring of last year. It produced about a dozen figs in its first summer, and over 30-40 figs this year and all ripening as you see above at different and unpredictable times. I'm not sure about FMV on mine. I thought that it should have it, but does not look like it does, which makes me very happy. Perhaps the Texas heat has something to do with eliminating the effects of FMV. Two out of three cuttings grew better than the third one which I discarded.
I believe that the zone in which this fig is grown has a great impact on results. I was so impressed by this variety, that I put all my Col de Dame figs in the ground growing in full sun. This is a late fig, and despite having my first fig of this season over three weeks ago, it looks like it's ready to ripen the rest over the next few days.

That's funny, I never heard of heat being an enemy of fmv. Usually they say our cold winters in the Northeast kill the fmv vectors but that is a unique argument.

Rafalissimo, The temperatures in full sun could go higher than 110 on some days. Not sure if the heat argument applies to my situation.
In any case check out this thread: http://figs4funforum.websitetoolbox.com/post/fmv-free-uc-davic-black-ischia-and-uc-davis-black-madeira-7040439?highlight=black+madeira+cuttings+fmv&pid=1284021934#post1284021934

You are 100% correct I had seen that thread some time ago, of course hydrotherapy may work better than the broiling southern sun, but in any event I am glad it seems to have worked for you.

With my CdDB I found more fertilizer will green those leaves right up.
I would up pot to a 10 gallon. IMHO
I have some root temp data that I collected this year on a couple figs. Some are very sensitive to root temps other much less so.
I don't have enough experience with CdDB to speak with conviction however this might be something to be aware of.

good evening, im looking for martinenca rimada fig cutting, do you have it? or some rimada series or call de dame series? thxs
