Col de Dame Blanc plant

In thanks to Jon for running this site , I would be willing to sell this young CdDB plant ,with all proceeds going to Jon's new initiative, to anyone offering the most generous bid. I'll plan to give it a week for bid entry.
Everything will go to Figs4fun Foundation (correct name ?) , I won't divert any to my ice cream budget.
My original plant came from Gene of East Coast Figs.
Private Message me with bids ,we can both email Jon at Encanto with end result to confirm total.
Should have passed this by Jon first , but it just came to me as I debated whether I should keep this plant or send it to someone with a better chance of ripening the best quality fruit from it.

:-)

Great idea!  I'm sure Jon wouldn't mind.

Gotta love generosity and initiative!! ;-))

Kerry,

Can you post the pot size and height of plant?

Dale I didn't measure it , just posted the pics.

Just went out to measure it and from the soil surface to the growing tip is 1 foot.
The pot is a 5" deep pot.
As of now the highest bid is $225.

I was going to keep this open for bidding for one week , but because of a very busy up coming week and no additional recent bids that exceed the highest at $225 , I would like to wrap this up tonight by 8PM EST.

So , Going once .....

What a great idea!

Once this one is over I will come up with something of my own.
But in cuttings form.

Just have to think of what?

Thanks Kerry,
Folks like you make this a great place to be.

Very Kind thing you do, Kerry.

Nice work Kerry.

Wow!  Too deep for my pockets, but the highest bidder will get a fabulous plant!  Good job!  You sent me a perfect Ronde De Bordeaux, and it's very healthy and growing a week later!  Best shipping job I have ever seen!

Suzi

Thanks to all.
The bidders were the truly generous ones. I never realized just how sought after this variety was.

Suzi , glad to hear your RdB is doing well. They are happy in NH and in CA , can't beat that.
