col de dame gegantina???

Has any one heard of or seen col de dame gegantina? I think I spelled it right. In the past I've seen this variety mentioned but that's about it, I would like to see what the fruit looks like.

Baleares Island ... With a flight, I could do it ... Let me think ...
Never seen it in the wild here.
Strange, Spanish people around, here, don't seem to have interest in figs.
The last one I spoke to, was bad mouthing figs for their bland taste ... But he is from the north of Spain where the temps and rain are not helping figs .

I am from North of Spain, and you are right, the weather here is cloudy and rainy along the year, but with decent mild summers.

Depending on variety, we can crop excellent taste figs, mainly early varieties.
Very late varieties are not good for our climate.

Thank you
