Colasanti Brown Turkey

This is the first year they sold this fig so I bought one just too see, it's actually quite good.

Hi Nelson:
Where did you get the Colasanti Brown Turkey?  I have not seen it at any of the nurseries I've been to - Plant World, Humber Nurseries, Lakeside Garden Gallery/Holland Park Garden Gallery, etc?

How many figs did you get?

As always, Thanks for your input.

This one I purchased at Home Depot at queensway and 427 they sell the colasanti plants there every summer.

The others I got at plant world.

If you ever looking for some plants hit me up.

Thanks for the offer and info.

I am hesitating to expand my collection since I have so many plants right now - not just figs but others such as mangos, citrus, banana, guavas, plus others.  Figs are easy to care for in the winter since I just move them to the garage.  I will let you know if I change my mind and am looking for different varieties.

I do have a black mission, kadota and three Colasantis.  You have the three Colasantis but not sure if you have or want a kadota - I rooted two so they are spares.  I also have one rooted black mission but I want to keep as a backup.  I may root some more & if they work out, you can have it/them.

Let me know not just figs but if you want scions of the other plants I have - I live near Square One - closer to Bloor and Central Pkwy.

Oh wow you're 10 minutes from me if that I'm at cawthra and queensway.

Well if you ever change your mid let me know.

Hi Nelson:
How does this one compare to your EBT in flavor?

Hi Leon, this is a young plant and it's impressive considering how young it is.

My EBT I would rate it 9/10 in flavor this little guy more like a 6.

EBT can compete with allot of fancy named figs.
