Might to get 7 degrees tonight

Rich, you all up there have to be real tired of that weather.  Honker down and stay safe.

Supposed to be a 15 deg low here but the wind is strong which makes it more damaging.  Then we have a 7 deg low predicted for Monday night.  Let's hope it well get warmer from here on out.  I have three outdoor figs (Marseilles vs Black, Malta Black and Sicilian Red) that are only protected by heavy mulch around the base.  They are in a warmer microenvironment as they are shielded from the westerly winds by a wood fence but it should still be interesting to see how much damage there is.

I just checked the 10 day forecast for eastern MA and the lows for 7 of the next 10 days will be below 10 with a couple days below 0.

The 3 feet of snow we received on tuesday will hopefully help insulate things.

Sorry to hear guys. It will be a summertime like 24 F here in Loganville tonight . Rich fire your hottie up and keep those babies warm, just make sure they don't cook in the process . Lol
Kevin did you get a heater for the GH yet? You can definetly use one to melt all that snow you got last week.

According to my wife, we're "dying in this house". So i'll just have to make do with the GH. It's not heated now but it may be next year.
