I will be going to Thibodeux La. first week in september to do some alligator hunting. Any fig people in the area i would love to meet you. I could bring some cuttings if anyone wants some.

Actually, it is Uncle Noon who lives in Thibodaux, La. Uncle Noon is that Cajun  guy who is married to Taut Mess (Aunt Mess). And he is the guy that went to school with the Bourdreaux and Thibodeaux twin jokers.

Several years ago, Uncle Nood was arrested by the sheriff of Lafourche Parish.....where the city of Thibodaux is located. Seems like Uncle Noon was dumping garbage on the side of the road and right in front of the sheriff as he passed by. The sheriff stopped his car in a screeching halt and said to Noon, "What is the matter with you Noon?? Are you crazy or something?? Can't you read the sign?? It is plain as the nose on your face?"

Noon said to the sheriff, "What is the matter with you, sheriff? Are you having a bad day or something? Can't YOU read that sign? As plain as day, it says, "FINE for dumping garbage".

I heard uncle Noon and aunt Mess and Bordeoux were hired by BP during the oil spill and were ordered to clean 120 oil soaked sea gulls by lunch time.

Uncle noon cleaned and gutted them all while aunt mess prepared the rice and Bordeoux grilled the birds.

Ha ha.........Sounds like those clowns.

Did you know that I was elected president  of "CARICA" (AKA... "Coon Ass Research Institute of Coastal America"). We meet regularly at Uncle Noon's house in Thibodaux and can't get a darn thing done whenever Boudreaux and Thibodeaux are in attendance at our meetings. They never miss a meeting so we are still stuck on regular Celeste discussions......and have never yet had a chance to advance to any other fig discussion since I've become Prez!!

Well, my buddy Clayton tells me his neighbor is a fig tree nut, and has a bunch of fig trees so i will meet at least one. 

Rafed i will bring plenty of heartburn medicine , my friends are all cajuns and i have had their cooking before. Love it but it kills me.
