Comparing "Melanzana" and Lungo del Portogallo

I'd like to compare my "Melanzana" (one of many) and "Lungo del Portogallo", since these varieties have been recently mentioned.
These figs are quite similar, but show some distinctive features.

Lungo del Portogallo, not much 'lungo' but rather flat:

Both figs look VERY nice but is it possible your LDP is some other fig it doesn't look like Jamie's?

Also isn't lungo di portugallo sometimes also called melanzana calabrese?

Thanks Pino,
i don't know, seems that in Italy nurseries put random labels on fig trees, than i'm not 100% sure that this is Lungo del Portogallo, but Jaime said that his fig is probably a synonym of L.d.P, it's a supposition.

Fico,

Your fig doesn't look nothing like mine. Is that the one that is know in Italy by "Lungo del Portogallo"? In an Internet search by that name what comes out is very similar to my fig (long and slender) and quite different from yours.

Your's seems too round and flat. I know it's not a definitive comparaison, but do you have photos of the leaves?

Brebas are elongated, the main crop can be flat or a little elongated

This is my "Brunswick", very similar in both leaves and fruits.

Ohh, Ok, Fico.

I though your photos, in the first message, were of Brebas. I have main crop figs growing and when they mature i will post some pictures.

Thank you Jaime.
