Conadria early softening/color change

My potted Conadria is loaded with main crop fruit this year. In the heat wave of the last several days several have already turned yellow and begun drooping in typical ripening fashion. They release easily from the stem, but when cut open they reveal a completely unripe interior (yellow and fuzzy with no sign of the purplish jelly I expect at this stage of softness). It does seem a little early for them to be so soft, but these soft ones will just fall off the next day if I don't pick them. I hope these are just a few confused pack leaders and the rest will fully develop.  Any thoughts on what this might be or suggestions to help them fully ripen?

I had the same experience with several trees already, Excel seems to be hit the worst.  The last one popped off yesterday.  All of them seem to have some discoloring at some point of the fruit, almost like "blossom end rot" you would see on Tomatoes.  Sucks, I was looking forward to them.

All of my affected trees are potted.

I think it's just a symptom of rollercoaster-moisture.  Can't keep the damned trees wet enough.
