Looks good dude. Next season you'll get figs, even if this started forming now you probably wouldn't have enough time to ripen this year. Here's to next year!

Your fig looks pretty good!  By the way, your greenhouse in the background also looks pretty good.  I got one from Big Lots last year for about $50  It works great for my seedlings.

Hmmmm, fruit next year, not bad

Definitely strong growing condition you have it in. Nice work. Get it through winter and figs will be yours ;)

Thanks! I live in fig heaven... Las Vegas! It's weird how they tolerate such hot conditions, luckily a fig is my favorite fruit though! I also picked up some valuable fig info on my breba crop, the figs will still be devoured by birds. But I have a problem, even when ripe it leaks some sap, and when not ripe, its a little wrinkled

2 avacados from seeds, so hass, the pineapple top, and thanks!

I gave this a supplement of potassium, phosphorus, it is helping greatly, I'm trying to get more branch for more fruit next year

How long does is take for a fig branch to be hardy for winter?

Varies with variety.  The cold hardy varieties lignify quicker than others.  You're in Las Vegas right?  They have cold there?

Lol, yes, Las Vegas actually gets quite cold, in mornings anyway, it's commonly 30-40 most of the time, just no snow though
