Sal

Sal,

I'm surprised they lasted long enough for you to take pics.LOL
Look really tasty, Congarts!

HI Sal
are those main crop figs?

Hey Sal, those look great! Thanks for the great pictures.

Martin they are all main crop. I had a feeling about the VDB not ripening properly. The others on the tree are still green a few are starting to turn a light shade of yellow from dark green Hopefully they will ripen properly.
Rafed my DW now takes inventory So I have to share each and every one. lol
Tim that is the MBVS you sent me It is doing great

Here is my MBVS that I got from Tim. It's a great growing little tree that has produced about a dozen figs this year. I'm not sure but it's probably in it's second year.

Here is my first fig from the tree. It was very good, rich and sweet.

These are the latest figs off of the tree. A couple of them were really ripe but I found that the taste faded on the over ripe ones. The just ripe one tasted better. Anyone else find a fig better in it's just ripe stage over it's really ripe stage.

Gene since you don't care for the over ripe ones, you are welcome to send my

way They look so good from here ;) my riper ones displayed more flavor Have you still been getting lots of rain?

No rain lately Sal. It's been perfect fig weather. Now I didn't say they were so bad that I wanted to give them away, lol. If all goes well I get a better sampling next year.
"gene"

Gene I'm hoping for another flush with our longer growing season I've seen this with my Blk u/k in it's first  2 seasons. Fingers crossed as this is a very good tasting fig.
