Jason, I feel a bit (or more) relieved now because of this thread. I thought I was the only one contacted for cuttings and felt I was insensitive to so many frequent PM's & one email and not able to send cuttings by the end of March as originally promised to Aeilee (March is not over yet). The PM and another posts made me try to send the cuttings a bit earlier than the original promise of end of March but life is not only figs even for the retirees, so I was not able to send earlier than the end of March despite reminders by asking me "what type ar eyou sending". Actually I had made it clear that "I will send whatever is left over after sending to those whom I had made promise of cuttings and I have not sent yet".
 
I thought it is possible that Aeilee may be a student and doing a sociology/psychology project for a school paper about people reactions to annoying ways of achieving objective!!  It was just a guess.

For what it's worth, I will send you some cuttings in the Fall. I can't do anything anymore right now.

Under the condition you really truly are this 13 year old kid you say you are.
Because you have a little growing up to do.
That could explain your behavior.

But if we find out you are not the kid you say you are and turn out to be someone much older then all bets are off the table.

We will find out about you, one way or another.

In the meantime, Do not bug anyone else about any cuttings. If they want to give you something then you will know when the time comes. People help more when they are not pressured.

What you need to do is to start earning the trust and study.

BTW, where are you getting the seeds you are offering in exchange?

First, Dominick, thanks for sharing your story!   I was really touched by your positive outlook and your sense of humour about life! 

Aielee, maybe your parents can help you with your fig project and help you on these types of forums.

I am a serious gardener, i go to my local kent, and buy seeds for every year. I ask my parents if i could buy some because i really have an interest about this! I will stop asking for cuttings! i promise! And i am a 13 year old boy. I will post a picture with me and my fig plant! And show everyone what i have grown by myself!

I would prefer not to delete this thread.  I think it is a positive thing that can teach many people, including you.  It teaches how your actions impact others; if we find out that what you say is not accurate, it teaches us about blindly trusting others.

I see from this thread and the message I've received offline that you have reached out to several people in a way they don't like or they don't feel is appropriate.  You see that people here are generous and willing to stick their neck out.  I relish in the fact that this side of people exists.  I am grateful.  I try to tread cautiously to make sure it stays that way.

LOL Rafed, misses says I have lots of growing too. Can't win. Otherwise end up as Bear compainon in the unheated garage.

Ailee, We are all here to learn. It says alot about you and your parents that you are gardening and not out doing drugs, comiting crimes, or setting playing video games 24/7. There are alot of good people here that will will teach and help you along the way (5000+ members testifies to that). Yes you caught the fig bug . my wife doesnt understand the sticks in bags on top of the frig, I think some of the things she does is crazy to( but I'm not telling her that).

Maybe time to let this young man be for now, I'm sure he understands the concerns, obvious what he has said! He stood up and apologized and to me sounded like a very good defense. I got an email from "guess who" other day, Very much KNOWN fig rip off artist,,, asking me for my Italian figs,, Not this young man! I just deleted it. I almost knew right away just in how Ailee he has been posting, there is language, ect issues, and the typical pushiness of younger people :)) As was said, great he isn't sitting around playing video games all day and getting into alot of madness as so many younger people do now adays. \

P.S. wonder how his parents must be feeling if they know at all about the recent posts and the recent threads on their son. 

Hello Bassem, I root the cuttings using the baggie method. i have done this once with a cutting from lebanon (birtati) and it is now growing with roots!

for step #2 choose to reduce by 50%, it should work fine.

Aeilee try what i said, right click on the photo and choose resize photo, or you can start a photobucket free account and resize it there.
