Nice, lots of work ahead there!

That's the stuff dreams are made of.  How fortunate for Tim and his family.  Best wishes for your future there.

What a wonderful thing to do!  Best of luck , and God bless y'all this Christmas season!

Hi Tim
Congratulations and best of luck with the farm. The property looks awesome.
Look forward to seeing you next summer

Yes I can see your trees instead of the corn!  Congrats. :)

Thanks y'all! We're really excited about it.

We'll be starting about 400 trees this winter (mostly figs) for selling and our production plants. We plan to use about an acre for fig production (still finalizing which cultivars we'll be using). Would love to see some of you folks this coming spring and summer.

Stay tuned to our blog or Facebook page if you'd like to keep track of the progress on the farm.

Good luck, Tim!  Hope it's a very fun and fruitful venture for you :)

Congratulations and all good wishes to your venture Tim.

Tim Good Luck Thats A Beautiful Looking Farm You Got There!!!

I'm late to the party this time. Congratulations, Tim. I know you are a hard worker and a good man. If anyone can be successful at this venture in our area, you can. I will certainly be there. If it is a u-pick figs, you may have to weigh me before and after, don't trust only the weight of the basket.

Super nice looking farm Tim, good luck and good growing.

Thanks all, your posts are really encouraging. Hope to see y'all through the coming year.

Bill, yep, u-pick figs will be tough with you! Maybe we'll have to restrict you to those already picked ;-)

Will likely have some sort of open house next summer so I'll be sure to put it on the forum when we do!

Grats on your lovely farm.  I am so envious.  Hopefully I can make it up if you do have an open house.  It would be great to see it in person.  Enjoy

May god bless your new ground ,I would love to come and help too.

Btw Check this farm out:

Tim,

Congrats and good luck in your endeavors.  Looks like a lot of fun.  When I get tired of this corporate stuff maybe I'll join the foray :)  I bet you could do really well with hoop houses and stepover type figs in your climate.

Congratulations on the new farm!  It certainly looks beautiful.  It'll be a lot of work, but a lot of fun as well.

Tim look up using a trellis system for your trees. My cousin is doing it for his farm for his apple trees. He planted them pretty close together he said doing so causes the fruit to produce earlier than it normally would spaced out. Also he can put more trees up on less land.
