Controlling pests

I really haven't had anything discover my figs yet.  Birds, squirrels, racoons , nothing seems to know what they are yet.  I did have a large racoon rip my grapes apart for the third time.  At first a put a net over it and then an electric solar powered fence.  I thought it was squirrels.  Then I saw the racoon one night sitting on top of the T shaped trellis like a hammock and eating away.  They have such thick fur I guess they go right under the fence? Cluster after cluster of grapes on the ground.  I then remembered the motion sensor sprinkler option I hadn't tried yet.  A Contech brand gets good reviews on Amazon, but a local farmers coop had one by Havahart so I got it.  It seems to be working.  The racoons come at around 12am or early morning and I haven't had a problem so far.  Now I only need something to scare away hurricanes.  At least I don't have to deal with these three foot Rats.

Rats? Looks like supper! lol

Thats quite a setup there and nice and neat looking also. Is that a veggie garden also .

I've built raised beds with strawberries, blueberries and some tomatoes.  That electric fence just pulses DC from a battery.  I think the AC one that are hardwired would be more effective.  !/4 of the yard was taken over by a halloween pumpkin that I threw on the compost last year.  I think I have about six and won't have to buy any this year.  I'd like to get rip of any lawn and just have mulch and raised beds.  It just look neat from that angle.  The whole yard is weeds.  I bought some of that black professional nursery ground cover fabric that I want to put down for the potted fig area.
