yesterday, the lady over the phone told me they just got them Saturday morning.
not too popular among the crowd i was with. they were a little lonely, while the strawberry, blueberries, blackberries, peaches dominated the attention. 
only pet peeve, each pack of 20 i believe ($5.99 brown turkey strain), had about 1-3 dead ripe, about 7-10 that could have used another day or 2, and the rest inedible rock hard, threw it in garbage.
on a similar note, trader joes expecting theirs to arrive in a week to 2 weeks

Same experience I have with Publix here in Florida. It's such a shame.

CT Costco has them as well.  The 3 I had were all flavorless, mealy and dry.  I was so excited when I saw them and so let down when I tried them.  If only my 1.5 year old BT would give me some figs.

Nick, I found fresh figs last month but they wanted $17 for a box of 10 or so. I had to pass. Okay, will look in my local costco!
