Today its plain cold across a lot of the country i see, here its 6 below zero with wind chills near 35 below, last night the wind was howling pretty good when i tried to sleep. Inside garage temp is 13 and if i open that overhead door it will surely get a blast of cold air and drop some. Im bringing in my little Argentil plant thats been covered and protected in garage but thats enough i hope not to lose it, the mature trees should be ok as each winter it gets cold and there ok. Another 2 to 4 inches of snow expected Tuesday and will warm into the 20s yes thats much better. Im baking some bread today so house will feel nice and warm! It defintely going to be a White Christmas here this year.

Martin - thanks for the advanced weather forecast - we get your weather usually right after it passes you. We got hit friday with 6-8 inches of snow and ice and got another few inches of ice/sleet/snow today. Now temperatures are dropping fast. I'm glad I wrapped my figs well. The shed that I insulated and put the heater in is working well. It was 18 degrees yesterday and stayed about 35 in the shed protecting my Celeste and Marseilles I bought from EL and my Bella in a pot.

your shed seems to be doing well temp wise, yes it does seem our weather sometimes goes toward your area, little heads up it reached zero today for a high, pretty much the same tomorrow but then a warm up for rest of week into 20s slowly reaching 30s so this is pretty good for us here anyways. Course we are going to get more snow tuesday that might or might not come your way.
Curious about the temps in your shed when it gets below zero similar to us and hope you have the same results as you seem to have put a lot of work in what you have done!
