Couple of Gino Black I just picked

This year, the figs were twice the size compared to last year and ripened 3 weeks earlier than last year as well.  They were very good.  Sweet with some skin crunch.  Tastes very similar to my unknown Carini.  As for LAST year's Ginos...they were sweeter and more concentrated in flavor.  This is a potted Gino.  Last year it sat on the deck.  This year I buried the pot.
I rate this year 8/10.

Nice!
i hope to get some of my first Gino's in a few weeks.
First year in ground for it was this winter.
Was protected, tips froze. came back out nicely.  Still a young tree.

Looks good thanks for sharing

Looks good, Frank!
My Gino's this year is not as good as yours.
For some reason almost half of the figs, about 7, were spoiled.
I hope the next year will be better or else ...

Mine is about 3 years old.  Not a vigorous grower, but as long as it gives me a few figs each year, I will take good care of it.  Like I said, last year's crop was outstanding.  Hoping to get around 8 more figs by the end of the summer.

Nice photos, looks like a keeper.
