Covering as many rooting bases...

I'm having too much fun trying to find a preferred method for rooting, haha. Luckily I have tons of fig trees in my neighborhood for trials, although they're unknown varieties some are really good. Getting in as much practice for the good cuttings. They're looking nice up top, hopefully they're just as nice underneath.

Simon,
sea through containers would tell you the entire story.

Yeah definitely, I've got most in clear containers but a few in gallon pots and the tray with plugs is where the mystery is, haha.

Simon,

Great start! But.. your local trees roots anywhere under any conditions, that is my experience. Because they are fresh (you probably just cut them) and accustomed to your local weather and humidity. The challenge comes when the cuttings arrive from far and of some mediocre quality :(

Good point Igor, hadn't thought of that. Now you've got me all nervous, haha.
