I understand there are many ways to protect fig trees in winter.
Some people use tarp or white plastic to cover aftter they wrapped with burlap.
What I need to know is exactly what kind of tarp or white plastic cover we can use and where can I buy these things?
I am asking because there are many kinds of tarp and white plastic sheets on market.
Please let me know.

I use the tarp they sell at home depot. It is used by contractors and has many uses. I stay away from black since it attracts heat and can cause mold.

Leon, I got some that were brown on one side and silver on the other, I used the silver side to match the siding and it reflects heat. The blue one is the other one I use.
