Cultivars that dries on tree without spoiling.!

I have sold a Malta Black to a Gardener in Florida, and i had a pix on Ebay that show a couple of fruits that lost water, and they looked semi dry.
So this Gardener was worried, that the fruits might be bad if they dry on tree.
Tacoma Violett also dry on tree when weather permit here(not this year yet),Also Marseilles black vs ,and Gino will dry on tree late in October if climate is nice and sunny.
Violette de Bordeaux and Petite Aubique will also do the same, in good years.
Do you know other cultivars that will do thyat when climatic condition permit.
I personally like the taste and flavor the most ,at this stage, but in my climate it happen only once in three years or so.
Here are Malta Black ,and Tacoma Violett, drying on tree.

Herman,

Interesting information, thanks.

I have a semi related question please.

Off the different types of Paradiso  fig trees you have grown, in-ground or pot
which one resists the rain and spitting or spoiling in your area ?

Well, drying on the tree does indeed make for a super good tasting fig.

But, with all the rain we have been having on the east coast, it would be really nice to have a fig that would do that, even after being soaked from rain.

My Marseilles Black VS, where just starting to ripen a lot of figs at the same time. Then the rain started. Went out this morning to see if anything was worth saving. Sal's EL was splitting even on semi ripe figs. Surprise to have been able able to pick some water logged Marseilles Black VS, that were actually sweet and not sour. Even though they were swollen big from soaking up all that water.

Which made me wonder whether or not any one has had luck drying water logged figs. Or at least used a dehydrator to remove the excess water??????.

A lot of water in them, drying is very hard.
This is a tragedy what happens to our fruits this Summer.
No Paradiso or any other cultivar resist ,to splitting and souring latelly.
The soil air leaves fruits ,have so much water in them that all fruits that are getting ripe now, spoil and sour.
Including Nero 400m,which showed resistance to rain 2 weeks ago.
