exoticplants1 is a great source! thanks Jeremy for the great cuttings you sent earlier
Jeremy Thank you for the cuttings and for explaining to this newbie not to always buy one cutting, Glad to learn from all of you!!
Jeremy sent some of the nicest cuttings I've ever received .
yes Jeremy!, and here is a video of Jeremy's Bordissot Negra, review courtesy of Ross
Cool video, Now I know the discription of how they taste, made my mouth water... Never tasted those before.. Can't wait for Jeremy cutting to arrive...Thank you guys for the video!
Jeremy has actually been a friend of my family for years. Since he was a kid, my Grandparents & Uncle have been cutting his hair (they're barbers). Crazy enough I hadn't heard of Jeremy until I met him on here. Small world, huh? Anyway.. my family had nothing but really nice things to say about Jeremy and I was thrilled to find them all to be true when I met him last summer. He also was featured in 2010 for his garden: http://www.philly.com/philly/home/20100813_Mediterranean_in_Mayfair.htmlAs a side note... @Petechanr also sells cuttings and they're some of the best I've received. I also got the chance to meet him at the Staten Island Fig Festival last September and the guy really knows his stuff. You don't hear about him much, but well worth the visit to his ebay page: http://www.ebay.com/usr/rfactor12?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2754
Ross Thank you for your informtion, I have noticed that all the members here all help each other out, I am glad I found this forum and have a chance to meet wonderful caring people.. haaa, you should have saved a fig for me from the video.. I getting some cuttings from Jeremy but will have to wait awhile before I taste one..
Thank you everyone
I'm completely out of cuttings. Thank you all for inquiries and best of luck with them!
Lol, I actually have 2 more Bordissot negra cuttings left. Since, now I can see better after getting a light put in my garage. Pm me for details.
Jeremy, the article is from 2010. Ross' video is more recent. i don't see a single olive tree in the video. did you swap out one love for another?
I do still have 1 Olive tree. We had a mild winter in 2012 , so I left them out and they were fine. Then, 2013s winter killed them. I thought maybe they were adapting to the climate. Well, lesson learned, nope. Everything goes into cold storage now.
Also, I have a 18 year old giant sequoia tree bonsai. No way I'm risking losing that.
I have 2 more thick cuttings of col de dame grise (Bella claire nursery) type. This definitely will be the last of the cuttings. Pm if interested.
