Cuttings in the bins for 1, 2, 3 weeks -- too late to score?

Hey All,
I decided to root my cuttings in the spring this year.  I put them into bins in waves last week, 2 weeks ago, and 3+ weeks ago.  I was in a rush each time I did this...I was happy to just get them into labeled bins with sphag moss.  I've gotten a few rooted cuttings from the first batch already, but things are generally moving slow.  (Not enough heat, IMHO).
I was going to score (scrape, really) the cuttings to promote root growth, but in my haste I neglected to do this as I put them into the bins.  Is it too late to do this now?   I can do it when I go back to check for roots...
Jim

i don't see why not as long as it's still in "baggie" stage, and whatever you are using to scrape is sterile. once it's planted... in cup or 1 gal, i wouldn't disturb them. but some cuttings do take long time.

Jim,

Give them more time.  It doesn't make sense, but for me cuttings started in the spring seem to take longer than cuttings started in the winter.
