Cuttings to Share

I'm half way there.   10 more available.

Thanks

Dan, I just sent you a PM.

When you say to clean and separate them into bags with their own moss, can you spell it out to me? I am not holding you to my success or not, just wanting to know what you would do.

I am thinking scrubbing it lightly with some kind of mild dishsoap, a good rinse then in a ziplock mostly filled with moist peat moss. Is that correct? Also, should I / can I put them in the fridge until I get my root beds set up?

Dan, when you say that Antonelli survived unprotected, was that a die back to the ground?

Any fig surviving -14F unprotected makes us Mainers perk up our ears...right, Greg?

Every time!  Even just the whisper of a rumor.

Dan, PM sent. Thank you!

Joaquin:

I've never been one to bleach or sanitize my cuttings or wax the ends.  I think that the moss and the newspaper used to store the cuttings have some sort of quality that inhibits mold enough not to get to crazy.  With that said, I think there is value in separating and rinsing them in fresh water before storing them.

Greg:

The Antonelli fig.

The owner foreclosed on the house and there was nobody there to cover it.  I checked on it and it came back from the winter injury.   I drove by a month or so, (people living there now) and its as high as the fence.

Thats kind of what we said about MSU :)

Hey now...... That hurt!

I love what Mark Dantonio has done at MSU! One of the best defensive minds in college football.

Can confirm about Dantonio.  I'm a Purdue fan and its been some dark times the past several years.  Really hoping that Hazell can transform our program.  We're already leaps and bounds ahead of last year, but we still have a long way to go.  Danny hope just recruited nancies to our program that liked to talk about their feelings.  Hazell is a lot more hard nosed, which we need....we did our best to give MSU a scare...alas.

I didn't think OSU would do that, just hope Nebraska beats Wisconsin, they always give us trouble.
Nice job Dan!!
