Anyone out there who doesn't already know about this guy beware.  Here at this forum his username is "Zergy".  At the (Gardenweb) Fig Forum his username is "Zergas".

I've been had too by this character. I sent him cuttings, but the ones he
was to send me never arrived and he won't answer his E-mail.

I recently traded with a guy in CA. He wanted to trade a box of Dates for a box of Pawpaw fruit. so I've sent him a box of pawpaw back in september, and haven't got anything from him as he promised he wanted to send. Never answered any emails. Finally in December I received his package.

I wonder if this person has ever shipped anyone any cuttings, even if it was months later.

Here's an update to this guy's various usernames and ID's:

At GW Fig Forum he has recently (November 15) created a new username, "figster2007".  I guess he knew the jig was up for Zergas.  In spite of cheating no telling how many FF members out of cuttings, he is posting under this new username being friendly and helpful - it's pathetic.

Also, his current ebay username is zerganator666 (recently changed from zergas).  He picked an appropriate name with the 666 at the end of it.

The thread at GW Fig Forum was pulled.  Apparently some of the posts violated policy such as someone posting the guy's name and address.  Anyway, I have the entire thread copied into a MS Word document.  If anyone missed it and would like to see it, email me, and I'll send it to you privately.

   thanks for the tip off, just today i started sending cuttings to
people i promised. i just read his e-mail of weeks ago to me.
he claims he has over 40 varieties.
 i don't understand the trickery, if i had extra cuttings
i would gladly give them to a newbie without an exchange.
oh well thank God for honest people.
