Cuttings update

For all of those that so kindly sent me cuttings to get started.  Currently 72 of them outside in the semi shady mistbed, though not all are visible in the pic  There are some cuttings still rooting inside and maybe another 50 still in cups. So far have about 40 varieties and shooting for 50 eventually.

We share your pain, LOL
You are among friends, LOL
It will only get worse, LOL
There are hell of a lot of worse addictions, LOL

Really, really nice! Your weather is much more prdictable than here in Maryland. Over 60 today, tomorrow night calling for a dusting of snow again.

keep up the nice work.

Nice job there Willis

what a great sight!  they look perfect!

Is your frost season over already?

Harvey,

No. Our frost free date is March 1.  In fact we have forecast lows of 32 this weekend so all those buggers have to be moved.  We have just had a very warm winter even for us.  As I type this at 5:33am it is still 67 degrees.

I want to be your neighbor.

Wills, that is a lovely picture. They are some nice healthy specimens. Mine are not leafed out yet but just starting. I have them in a lean-to on the north side of my barn. That keeps them out of the winters rain and allows the to sleep a little longer in case we have a late Feb. cold snap. Looks like we have one coming with a low of 39 on Sat. After that I will introduce them to sunshine and watch them grow. Thanks for the picture.

Keep us posted.

I have zone envy!  Wish I could put mine outside now.

Patience, Frank. My starts are outgrowing the under-the-lights space and so I am finding strategic places near windows at home and office. Patience now must be exercised by spouse. Hey, it's Lent, so perhaps she will bear it silently.
