Dalmatie (Belleclare) very sweet!

Edit:  I changed the title from Vasilika Sika to Dalmatie.  The genuine Vasilika Sika has a different leaf pattern.  Mine is a Belleclare plant, apparently mislabeled by the nursery.

Nice large fig.  Very sweet and rich.  I'd say it's just a tad sweeter than Longue d' Aout.  I'd rate it 8.5/10.

Thanks everyone.  Looks like another one is on the way.  I'm going to let this one get super ripe and see how much better it can get.

haha!  Deal.  ;)
Glad to hear it, Chris.

Enigma,

I've read previous posts on the argument of this variety name, and while I agree that it isn't the Greek VS, I didn't want to create more confusion on where mine originated from (Belleclare).

Enigma:Perfectly articulated,facts.!

Thanks for the insight, Enigma.  I will be sure to correct the title.  You're right...it's the owners' responsibility to keep the record straight.  We are certain this is Dalmatie?  I've searched websites and older posts, and I still see conflicting images of the fruits and leaves, but they're closely related.
