Some of the first figs of the season, both brebas (obviously for Desert King).  Danny's Delight was good and sweet (and large!) but the smaller Desert King wins for flavor.  Oddly Desert King only put on two brebas this year.  I'm hoping for more next year.

They look delicious. Is the Danny's Delight also a breba only fig like Desert King?

How old is your Danny's? I have one I started in 2009 that hasn't produced yet. I gave it some extra chances because I don't have another breba-only tree. I'm torn between tossing it and using it as a platform for grafts.

I don't believe Danny's Delight is breba only. It has one or two main crop figs on it that should ripen this year. Got it from Almost Eden last year as a small start. It set three breba that all held.
