Picked today, Dark Portugese, Bissiri Dark(smallest one), Tiger and yes my first Kathleen's Black (pictured by itself)!!!

Curious how did you like the dark portuguese taste and which did you enjoy the most.

Hi Martin,

The Dark Portugese is very good this year, definitely improving with age. Kathleen's Black has a unique taste, even though it was the first fig from that tree the taste difference from all of my other figs is very noticeable,  stronger and different. Very rewarding to finally taste one of the premium figs out there and it was my favorite. Bissiri Dark, while very small figs are also very sweet and tasty. Tiger was actually the sweetest. In other words no bad figs in the bunch!! I do have many white figs growing too, but this day, only dark ones ripened. It was a Martin day here in Philly

LOL Martin, ok I do like dark figs, but my collection is wholly integrated. I'll post as they ripen.

I passed Psy 101 and am with Rafed on this one.
It's OK Martin, you will still be the forum's Fonzi even though you like some light figs.
