the last two months have been ideal for fig ripening here in west new jersey....sunny, warm and dry.....here's a days take, then dark chocolate dipped and sprinkled with sea salt

Oh, Man, those have got to be super tasty!!!! Dried figs dipped in dark chocolate are a crime against nature IMHO. On the other hand, fresh figs dipped in dark chocolate have GOT to be some of the best tasting stuff on earth.
Now that's a good days take! Mmmmm, dark chocolate... over ripe figs... mmmm.

My new experiment today.I just used a couple of Col de Dame Blanc figs dipped in Dark Godiva Chocolate . All I can say is Wow! Strawberry dipped in chocolate anyone?
