These are local Smyrna class figs (Portugal), grown last year in pots in my residence balcony. Their names are in the local language so they are not commonly discussed in this and other forums neither the people is much aware of these names. But they have been around for ages and mentioned on old American papers of the early years of the XX century, by those same botanists I mentioned on a previous thread.
They may eventually be still available from UCD collections
Their particular characteristics derive from the fact that they were subjected to a full exposure to neighboring caprifigs and were pollinised by the little insect.
This exposure does a lot of good to every summer fig.
I noticed that you would like to have Violette de Solliès on your collection..
Let me send you a picture of a Violette de Solliés fig from my pots and growing side by side with those Smyrnas and with identical exposure to wasps
Unfortunately both yours and our authorities void the transit of plant material and no gift, exchange, etc is technically possible
