Beautiful, just beautiful. Congratulations!
YUUUUMMM--EEEE!! =)
yummmmmmmmy!!!!
What a nice surprise!!!
Mnedelcu, nice figs, but those black figs seem to be Ronde de Bordeaux, not De La Reina. At least not De La Reina MP (Montserrat Pons), in Spain there are several "De La Reina" figs, but different between them, because of this I put "MP".De La Reina MPMy Ronde de Bordeaux:More details about De La Reina MP:http://figs4funforum.websitetoolbox.com/post/quotDe-La-Reina-MPquot-a-promising-variety-5646757
Well they look great whatever they are and it couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy. How did you protect them?
Yeah, I had also thought...hey...aren't those RdB?
Axier, this is a 2 years old De la Reina from Spain(cuttings comes to me labeled-REINA),in 18 gal pot-true,it is not from mr Pons collection.Ronde de Bordeaux got much different leaves, see pictures.
great looking fruits marius....i would love such surprise one dayenjoy
WOW,,,,, fantastic,,, not much more I can say,,,,,,
These leaves are similar to Ronde de Bordeaux, mndelcu, I would bet that your fig is a Ronde de Bordeaux.
Axier..one more time,i do have 2 different trees,2 different leaves shape ...
Ok, if you are sure that it is not a Ronde de Bordeaux, I believe you.In any case, they look nice!
WOW!! They look great!!!Nice surprise!!
I am mowing to Marius neighborhood. They are beautiful.
Congrats--they look amazing. i heard the col de dame has the tough skin but properly ripened in your pics i am not concerned of the skin anymore. thank you for opportunity to see these beauties. this is way too early though for UC Davis in ground col de dame? what is the col de dame's story? Was the flavor of Reina in the similar family ballpark of flavor profile of bordeaux figs?
Wowie! Yummy! A fabulous looking fig, Marius:)
