I have had several varieties this season where the eye is very deep into the fig - not a hollow, but with the eye scales penetrating deep into the flesh. Anyone ever seen ths?
Jon, not sure if this is what your looking for but the fig pictured on left side of screen. It seems to stop similar to yours where it meets the seeds of the figs. Wish i would have taken a more close up picture.
