Thanks Bob for the opportunity to get cuttings of this one.  So far this one is callusing far ahead of the other varieties in my chamber.    Couldn't believe what I was seeing when I opened up the bag.   It took a little sting out of my Lions losing once again on Thanksgiving.

Today, among other things, I'm thankful for Bob for offering these cuttings up for sale.

I am wondering what exactly is this chamber, how does it work. I love learning new propagation methods.

I take the cuttings and put them in moist, not wet, sphagnum moss. I wrap them in newspaper and then place them in large ziplocks. I label the ziplocks and put them in a plastic storage bin. Then, i laid over my towel rack over my heat register. Finally, I put my towels over the bin to trap heat. Check once a week. Once the cuttings have roots 1" long, I pot them up.

Nice. Thanx for the info. Never had any luck doing it in bags. Giving it another try put some hardy chicago in yesterday and poped it on top of my freezer for warmth. See how it goes. Your method wouldn't work for me though I use a fire place for heat but I will remember it.

It hasn't been that cold yet. My furnace hasn't run that often. Im not sure how important the register is. As long as you stay at 70-75 degreees it should work the same. Good luck.

Perfect!  love thos little white callous
