Desperate for figs

OK OK Ok I know it's a seasonal treat and I know that the figs I get in my grow room aren't going to fill the void, but dang! - I'm craving figs!
I just bought some dried organic California figs from nuts.com and although they are pretty good it really just makes things worse.
I wonder just how big and expensive a set up I'd need to keep enough figs inside under lights and producing my needed fix. I know it can be done.
Does anyone out there know of someone that's tricked their indoor figs into producing?
This is all I need:

Michael, I brought four plants inside in Oct last year and placed them under T-8 lights. They all had unripe figs on them. They all
did ripe at some point but NONE of them were worth eating. They either lost most of their taste or they were hard as a rock.
