I managed to make grow a few figs from UC Davis,despite the fig Mosaic.
I had excellent tasting fruits,from Blk Ischia,Barnisotte,and good tasting ones from DFIC 17 Brn.Trk.
Now i Have a new one fruitting,Dfic 30 !!!.
It has three figs of very large size ,80 grams and growing!!!!!.
I wonder if anybody else has experience with this variety and how was the taste?.
I did not consumed the three fruits yet because they are not totally ripe,and still pointing up.
I am waiting for them to lower themself in a vertical position so i know thy are done.
It does look promissing.
This is a cutting i rooted in Spring 2006.

It does look that very few people have this one!!!!

I received the cutting 2006 season.

We Consumed 2 ripe fruited from this variety,and found it only mediocre in Flavor and sugar.
We gave it a 5 on a 1 to10 scale.
We suspect lack of enough hit units here in NJ,needed for this variety,in order to have decent fruits.
Would like to know how it will be when ripe in SAN Diego.
