differnces in sp moss

So I have used 2 different sp moss in my rooting over the last 2 weeks - Mosser Lee and Better-Gro premium grade orchid moss from Lowes.

I have successful rooting with both mosses, however there are other differences.

Mosser Lee is has more grassy stuff and twigs then Better-Gro.

Mosser Lee seems to break down while Better-Gro hasn't - there is "dirt" in the Mosser Lee bin.

I purchased more Better-Gro today.  It is just easier to work with - no grassy stuff and less twigs.
It hasn't broken down so I think I will be able to use it several time.
There isn't a layer of "dirt" on the bottom of the bins.

Jo-Ann this is awesome stuff as clean as you can possible get.Theres nothing but clean clean moss .

Anthony is correct. This is really good stuff.

Thanks for the link, Anthony.  Looks like a good product.

I've purchased 2 bags of Mosser Lee over the past month.  I dump it in a bin and use hedge clippers to cut it into smaller pieces.  Makes it a little finer and easier to get cuttings out of without messing up roots.  It's a little time consuming, but worth it.  I also noticed lots of stringy junk in there.

No problem Frank your very welcome.
I can say there's no JUNK in the moss in the link I posted twigs grass etc zip zilch nadda its quality stuff.
It even smells clean wet or dry unlike some others I have used etc.
