Thanks Mike, this year has been a great year for figs. Allot of my plants that were rooted this year are already bigger than the ones I rooted last year go figure.

Hey Martin, yes its a white fig.

does the name of the plant mean 'candy', 'sweet' or maybe 'twelve' in portugeuse?  given knowledge of other nearby languages (regionally), i assume it's one of the three.

Jason Doçe could mean Candy, Jam or sweet depending on how you use it in a sentence. Portugese is a little complicated at times but this fig got the name for its high sugar content.
