Do I dare change UC scion request

I was wondering if anyone has ever made changes to their order and if things went smoothly. There are a couple more varieties I have learned about that I would like to add to my order but don't want to complicate things. I was also wondering if anyone does any trading of scions when they arrive and have more than they actually need. I checked posts from earlier this year and did not see anything that would suggest trades are taking place.
Thanks for your help

I added to my original request before the deadline and everything went okay, I received one shipment with both orders. Probably no trading goes on until after successful rooting. I would hate to trade and the one I kept failed to root or died shortly after rooting. Maybe others trade before successfully rooting all cuttings.

I think it's best if you leave it alone.  You will receive your request.  These people are volunteers.  They work for nothing to gift you.  Get straight with your order.  There is always next year.  Dont mess with a good thing.  You could destroy it for all of us.

I ordered a second order and made a note, this is a second request.   they fullfill the first completely and the second, I got a few, not all.  I think the accomodate in the order requests arrive, but also the avaibility of the scions.

Larry, since you are getting a variety of advice, you may want to email Mary Parker at ARS/USDA, UCD and explain your situation. She is very nice and wants to help us out. I was told it was no problem since they haven't even thought about collecting, received mine in early March. Anyways, give her an email.

Last year I made two orders and they filled what they could and were extremely nice about it. If you need an email of an individual to talk to pm me.

I agree, send an email to mary parker, she is a very nice woman and she'll do everything in her power to help you.
