Does anyone here know about the Nazarti fig?

I received 3 long 18" cuttings from Davis! I must have got confused on this one, I ordered, because I have never heard of this Fig. If anyone here knows anything about it or  if it needs to be pollinated, by a wasp, please let me know, because I can't use them if they need to be pollinated....Thanks.. :)

Hey Frank,

I had this one awhile back. Supposedly, it was found at a convent in Israel. It is a San pedro type ( Breba only for us). The Breba was big with no flavor at all-insipid. I kept it for awhile beccause it was interesting, but eventually I got rid of it because it wasn't real productive and the brebas didn't get better in flavor for me. Ofcourse, I am in PA and you have a hotter, longer summer, so maybe it will be better for you.

Thanks a lot Bill! I got an email saying about the same thing as you said! Appreciate it, Thanks!

I'm not sure why it was on the order I received from UCD last year, but I have five trees which will become rootstock for something else.  It figgers, with all the cuttings I had last year, this one did the best.

doh! Bill I was hoping it was something good as another breba source. Unlike James, mine grew very poorly last year.
