Hi, everyone I have three Panache small tree which is rooted this year feb-march. IT took me a lot of patience and caring but finally it looks like they are growing. I can see even variegated pattern in the green growth. i read somewhere before being a variegated plant they grow very slowly. Can anyone shed some light on that. 
Hopefully next year I can get some fruit. Lucky to have them in my collection. Thanks.

Some fast.  Some slow.  My in ground shot up 7 feet in one year.  My potted one only a few feet. 

I started one from a cutting and it grew to about 3 1/2 feet. I think that's about average but it all depends on a list of things such as: soil, fertilizer, amount of sun, heat and what strain the cutting was taken from. Once the root system is developed enough it should kick in some good growth.

i have two, both were grafts. One grew to be a 3" with a tiny green tip so, it is alive... and the other grew about 22".  So, sometimes they cannot make up their minds...

Nice figs aikjogja, hopefully I will have the soon same. I agree with you guys, hard to understand their mood, feels like they are in a mood to grow. So fingers crossed.
Panache is very hard to find in Australia, So I will take great care of them.

Here,I know where there is one panaché in ground - not in my garden.
It is four years old, and the trunk is 4 or 5 centimeters large at ground level.
the main trunk is a meter high.
It is far faster than "longue d'aout" but far slower than "Dalmatie" .
The "panaché" threw 20 centimeters on each branch this year - although being an established tree in ground - ( but taking cold winters ).
But, it probably lacks fertilizer, care, and suffers from its shaded place.
This year, it did ripe some figs. At least, I saw a ripen exploded one on the tree. I don't know if it did rip some normal ones.
 

Hai Jdsfrance, I'll post my Lounge d'aout in Java where I lived, Lounge d'aout really fast bigger but I'm not sure if the shape of fruit same like in your country, we don't have time for hibernate /dormant, we have 2 season, rain season and summer season :), for me Lounge d'aout not easy to split, Jdsfrance are you planted Lounge d'aout at ground level ?? thank you for sharing :)

Variegated plants only tend to grow slow when they have a light colour with the green and the reason for growing slower is due to less chlorophyll being present.  For me Panachee grows like a weed.

All my panache trees have the darkest leaves of all the figs varieties I have. What about yours?

@aikjogja: all my trees are in ground. I know that I have rodent problems  with my longue d'aout.
But I still think that it is a slow grower, nether sending root-shootings. Hopefully, next year mine will perform better... Hopefully !
I may end buying a second tree ... Perhaps just a problem with this particular tree - or the place where is stays. But my "Dalmatie" is one meter away from the "longue d'aout" and it does perform really better with several root shoots ...

Mine is very vigorous with all branches growing 5-6' this year.  I see some leaves with mild signs of FMV but it's sure not slowing it down.  The tree essentially receives no fertilizer.
