I do not believe in tossing anything green so therefore when a friend brought me a limb I cut and am rooting the whole thing.  This includes what I call "logs", those cuttings over 1/2" (13mm).

Some of the smaller cuttings have leafed and rooted but the larger ones have done nothing.  They were all cut and rooted the same in May of this year.  The cuttings are all still alive but not doing anything.

Should I toss them or leave them alone?  BTW, I have them in various positions, ie, vertical and horizontal, in moss and in perlite/soil mix.

They will root just like the smaller cuttings.

i'm finding that size doesn't matter when it comes to figs. bigger ones.. smaller ones.. skinny ones.. they all root. i have one node wonder that i thought was dead growing leaves now. amazing..
