Doree

Mine looks different, I bought from a Canadian source so I am wondering if he has the same one or if I really have Doree or not.

They're both nice looking plants.

Chivas mine looks like yours and it came from Europe

Mine is from France and looks like the first picture.

Second year in ground , no figs yet….

Mine is a more reliable source so feel free to compare leaves:

I have Doree too and it looks more like what Chivas and leon showed

It's interesting how different climates and growing styles affect the leaves and ultimately the figs.

Interesting thread as well.  I will plant mine in ground as well this year, it should make it through the winter, the puppy destroyed a couple trees by pulling them out and chewing up my celeste which I believe is ok since neither of us like it as it's too sweet and not much flavour.  Maybe the leaves will show definite shapes when in ground?

Here are a couple recently rooted Doree cuttings I received from a European source. I hope its the real thing but looks different from Leon and Chivas's pics.

I found a tree in Clifton last year that doesn’t get covered. Some one said it looked like Doree. Green fig reddish inside. I guess time will tell.
