I harvested some cuttings from a Brown Turkey and an unknown fig today growing a 100 yards apart. The unknown fig had leaves already but the Brown Turkey looked dead yet was green inside
when I cut it. What gives? Do Brown Turkey figs come out later in the spring?

John when i had mine it seem to grow leafs at a normal time similar to the other ones, 100 yards is a football field could it be it was in more open area this past winter maybe? Just some thoughts that possibly could have affect,  also how old is tree. But anyways if you see green its ok and should come around sooner or later.
