Looks like they are ready to start the fig shuffle in a couple of weeks.

If you can fit your car in your garage you don't have enough figs.  :)

Bob!  That is really funny!!  Got a giggle out of me!  I really feel sad for those of you that do the fig shuffle, but I'm wondering what the beat is?  Rock and Roll, country?  Classical?  What?  :-))

Those look like some well established trees.  What's the age of the oldest one?

Is that garage heated? I keep mine in my unheated detached garage. Would they do better in my basement where it's like 60 degrees?

Yes, but I keep the thermostat set at 42 degrees. That seems to be a good temp for them.

The larger trees are prettier old. I got my first trees from Paradise Nursery and Belleclare. I think my first trees came from Paradise in 2002 and Bellclare shortly after. The group of smaller ones are between 1-3 years old, mostly one year olds.

I just heard on the news. Spring has been cancelled this year. Something about groundhogs equal rights.

Hi Scot-

The sleeping trees look nice and cozy.  Yes, the fig shuffle is just weeks away.  As for me, I think I will be shopping for new trees to replace the heavy losses that I anticipate.  It's been a very bad winter.
