I Did a little digging and found that Dr. O'Rourke is currently in residence (assisted) in Lake Charles, Louisiana.  Some of you may already have known this but I didn't.  Dr. O'Rourke and Dr. Standifer still write a regular article for Country Roads magazine

Mr. James Fox-Smith editor of Country Roads Magazine sent me an email on10/11/12 providing the information on Dr O'Rourke stating "I am glad to report that Dr O'Rourke is still with us and living (with assistance, I believe) in Lake Charles.  He and Leon Standifer still collaborate on an article for Country Roads each month, although these days, it is safe to say that Leon does the majority of the writing."
