Dreading

going home to see what the wind, hail and falling branches did to my fig trees, cuttings, and other garden delights!  Had a round of severe weather today.  Had a tornado not too far from the office that had us diving for the file vault.  The house is several more miles from the tornadoes, but according to my daughter, we had lots of hail.  Hope you guys in E, TN and Carolinas make out ok.

Caney

Hope all is o.k. with you and your family and your home.

Figs are easy to replace, real easy.

This spring seems to have the whole world trying to dodge storms and damage.  I hope your place is ok.  After a storm passed over our place this morning, I think it dropped a family of curious squirrels and a lone rabbit,  all heading for my backyard and the fig trees.  I am headed for my Daisy Red Rider. Know what I mean?

Got a veritable carpet of pine tree limbs to pick up including some pretty large ones.  Other trees seemed to have made it through.  And nothing hit the house.  Not so with some of my friends with house damage.  The hail knocked a few leaves off the one fig that has leaves showing, but not major damage.  Luckily, my daughter who just happened to be driving by when the storm hit, brought my cuttings in.  The hail did do some major damage to a couple of tree peonies.  Maybe I can root the "cuttings".

sirlampsalot, I was hoping the hail would bop a few squirrels on the head and put them outta service!  Glad your storm wasn't damaging.  Some of my buddies are coming over your way tomorrow or the next to fish the Tellico.  Hope the runoff gets out of their way quickly.

The aftermath in Atlanta is crazy.  This was taken on my way to work this morning, and was one of dozens (if not hundreds) of big boys that came down.

Wow! You guys got some serious stuff! We got heavy rain & thunderstorms, but nothing like you all got. Hope everyone is OK.

At our home in Fla near Tampa, our home was hit hard last Thursday with 42" through at base live oak tree fell onto and into our guest bedroom  and about 35-50k damages.  If I knew how to upload and display a pic from my Blackberry, I would display it.

@lampsalot. You are required to figure out how to load those pics before your 65th post or your membership will be suspended -------- just kidding man!

I'm sure you will get it figured out in time. Sorry, I will be of no help where the Blackberry is concerned. But actually posting pics to this forums is one of the easiest I've seen. There may be a little glitch from time to time but even those are usually easy to overcome with a little help.

Also, there are others here that may be able to help you with the Blackberry thing. I won't volunteer them though - they'll have to do that.

Uploading from a BlackBerry is a pain in the ass.  I'd try and explain, but even a tech savvy guy like me ... using the BlackBerry browser... it was seriously tough, and I don't ever want to be forced to do it again.
