Yes Dave, they are quite tasty!    Hard to beat the price too, think they were like, $9.49!

Lucky me, Costco here still has stock.   Picked up a few bags yesterday for the pantry and sure they have a decent shelf life as long as unopened or seal broker.  I rationed last year’s Costco figs for months and every bag opened was fresh.    As HungryJack states, bag is filled with nitrogen or some other inert gas to inhibit spoilage.

Ha…….. just checked the back of one of the bags.  Date stamp says…..  BEST BEFORE: Feb 15 2014 
Works for me, fat chance them lasting that long in this house.

So I went to Costco yesterday to get some Parm cheese for my folks and happened to remember to look for the figs. Well they were there in isle 128 next to the craisins and dried mango. I picked up 2 bags. What is so funny about this is while being rung up in line some guy, all excited, asked me where did I find the figs? He was almost druling. So I told him and he was gone in a flash. :-) I should have recruited him...

LOL, funny story, Sue.  My wife was at Costco on Saturday and she called to ask me if there was anything I needed there.  I forgot all about these figs that I forgot about the last time I was there.  I rely on my memory more than I should....

Dang! I was just in Costco again this morning.. and forgot to look.

4 figs left in the bag time to make a Costco run .............
