I just received my 'tiny' Drosera.capensis (sundew) plants.
Surprisingly, they came already equipped to devour some little 'wilder-beasts'!
Also, they have with some 'roots'.
Apart from an anchor-to-ground, and absorbing water;
I wonder, do the roots provide any nutrients to the plant?
They are also mostly 'green' in color.
Any photosynthesis activity here?
Being inexperienced in carnivorous plants;
I hope that they still do flourish for me.
I hear/read that these are one of the easiest prolific
ones to start with - and maybe the last for the
purpose of crunching them 'pain-in-the-butt' fungus gnats...
