Earliest in ground Green Fig

As a side post to my earlier one looking for recommendations on in ground trees I've realised that my short and long list are very lacking in green figs.

My only certain is DK.Dalmatie is a possible but may stay potted due to concerns over splitting so I'll throw it out there- are there any other green figs I should be considering for in ground in my climate?(Midlands UK-PNW equivalent)?

On your other thread, I mentioned Lattarula, a honey fig.  But it occurs to me that Brooklyn White might also work, though it may not be early enough for you.  I don't have any suggestion for a true Adriatic.

Latarulla or Italian Honey might be a good shout,I would like to include a 'honey' fig.

Brooklyn White also a good suggestion,on the main thread Timo recommended Becane,I remember there was a topic on Ourfigs which drew similarities between Brooklyn White and Becane but I don't think anyone in the US has a healthy specimen of Becane to compare as the UCD strain is aparently very sickly unlike the European strain.

I was hoping to include an 'Adriatic' type green fig-I might just have to stick with keeping one in pots/under cover when I finally get permission to put up a polytunnel(it's on rented community land).

You might want to give Green Michurinska a try.  Pen found it in Bulgaria and it seems to be hardy, early and rain resistant.  https://www.ourfigs.com/forum/figs-home/35719-green-michurinska-fig

Hi Greg, it is one I have but it is more of a brown fig-it's on my long list on my other more general in ground post.Lots of suggestions for dark figs and brown or bi-colour(purple/green)varieties but green fig suggestions are a bit thin on the ground,I suppose I would expand green figs to Adriatic and green skinned honey type figs but it seems choices may be limited for my zone

Hi Haroon,
White Marseille in the same family as lattarula and Italian honey, should definitely give you a good breba crop and possibly a main. Mine doesn't split and is a very good producer. I always get both breba and main but mine gets protection and is pot grown.
It also crops from a young age.
