Excellent question jackster. Wish I'd thought to ask it.
joe- I knew I wanted to try Desert King because of its large, early breba crop. Now, with a vote on its side for flavor, it's been pushed higher up the list for me.
Now a couple varieties with mid and late fruiting habits and I'll be good to go. ;-)
